Kari Reents

Founder & CEO

“I know what bankers are looking for - because I was one. To be successful in business today you need to be financially sophisticated, but not everyone can afford a CFO. Creekside Analysis Ltd. will help you bridge the gap between your bookkeeper and your banker. We offer personalized financial services so you can make the best decisions for your operation and your family.”

Kari was raised on a farm and ranch north of Stratton, Colorado. At an early age, she took an interest in finance and pursued a career in banking. She earned a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Colorado State University, where she also minored in Ag Resource Economics. In 2017, Kari completed a master’s degree from the Graduate School of Banking program at the University of Colorado.

Kari’s banking career began with the Farm Credit Administration (FCA) in Denver, Colorado. Her position as an Associate Examiner provided the opportunity to travel the U.S. examining Farm Credit banks across the country. In 2012, she moved home to begin working as a Loan Officer for The Eastern Colorado Bank (formerly Kit Carson State Bank). She held the position of Vice President - Lending when she left her banking career.

Kari is passionate about finance and wants to help individuals and businesses thrive by being better informed. After 11 years in the banking industry, Kari left to spend time with her young family and establish Creekside Analysis. The company has allowed her to utilize her finance background to help farmers, ranchers, and small business owners prosper.

She lives on the family farm and ranch with her husband Tyson and their two sons, Creed and Stanlee.

Sunrise Land Company LLC

Understanding client goals is the foundation to any business, while industry knowledge is the toolbox to build upon that foundation.  Each client has unique needs and it’s imperative to identify and optimize those needs throughout the transaction process.  Quality of work is far more important to me than quantity of work.  I strive to understand every aspect of a transaction and represent my client’s interest as if it were my own.  A good realtor is none less important than a good business partner. “

Tyson started his first business at the age of seven, mowing lawns for his grandmother and her friends. A lot of kids mow their grandmother’s lawns, but Tyson still operates that business, Sunrise Tree Service Inc., today.

Tyson has remained a passionate entrepreneur and investor. While keeping his lawn and tree service active, he earned an AAS Degree in Diesel Technology from Northeastern Junior College and a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Northern Colorado. He is also a licensed crop insurance agent and P+C insurance agent in Colorado and Kansas.

Tyson’s ultimate passion is real estate. He began investing in real estate nearly 20 years ago, and in 2016 earned his real estate license. He is now an active real estate broker in Colorado and Missouri. He enjoys facilitating the process for buyers and sellers for Ag, commercial, and residential transactions. Tyson also specializes in foreclosed property acquisitions.

Tyson’s experience gives him a business person’s perspective on property acquisition, and how the acquisition fits into a larger structure. Beyond business and real estate investments, Tyson loves agriculture and aviation.

Tyson and Kari were married in 2012 and now have two sons, Creed and Stanlee.

Mike Livingston

Farm & Ranch Consultant

“There was a time in my life I was so confident I knew everything about a cow and the grass she ate I wouldn’t even take the time to look over the neighbor’s fence. The time since then has been spent learning how little I knew. Through the course of changing management style and grazing practices I have crossed paths with many ranchers, their families, and employees. The one thing I found is the people who would receive the greatest benefit from change are often the ones who resist it the most. Looking back, had I been more open minded earlier in life, it would have made the journey much easier. My goal is to help people with their business and relationships to shorten their path to success.”

Mike has operated a farm and ranch with his wife Julie since 1984. A natural innovator, he is always seeking practical ways to advance producers in the cow/calf and farming industry. Mike has numerous accolades, but he and his family were most recently awarded the 2019 Colorado Leopold Conservation Award. The Livingston’s were also awarded the 2018 National Sorghum Producers State High Yield Winner, 2012 Colorado Cattlemen’s Commercial Producer of the Year, and the 2010 NRCS Outstanding Cooperator Award for Kit Carson County. Mike also serves as a Board Member for Farm Credit of Southern Colorado.

Mike is available for onsite consultations and will provide insight into how you can become more efficient and profitable in your own operation.
